No, it does not change. I guess the Bishop on 5c moved like 2b-3a-5c then
the Gold on 4b moved from 4a as White do not need to move the Gold to 3b
against ranging rook.

With this formation, the square of 2f are protected by 2 pieces(S2g & B5i)
to be ready for possible White's R2a development. I think it would be better
for the kNights to stay as original setting to prevent White's edge attack.

I have encountered a strong player who takes a similar strategy in a dojo
where I often go, the White's formation is like below(assume Black takes ranging
rook.) He had beaten me four times in a row with this strategy and the formation
above is my countermeasure for his strategy which works well.(Now I beat him
back in three times in a row with it.) It's fun to encounter an out-of-textbook
strategy well organized and to think of how to overcome it. Try it if you are interested.

    Pawns on 9d, 8e, 7d, 6d, 5d, 4d, 3d, 2c, 1d
    Rook on 8a (to move 2a or 1a depending on Black's formation)
    Bishop on 1c
    King on 5b
    Golds on 7b, 4c
    Silvers on 6c, 5c
    kNights on 7c, 3c
    Lances to stay as original setting
