Apart from the wonderful city of Charlemagne, also the date in between Christmas and New Year has also been one of the attractions of this tournament. Therefore, we would like to invite you for the 16th Nijmegen Shogi Tournament, which will be held from Saturday, December 28 until Monday, December 30. During the eight rounds, time limits will be one hour per person per game and thirty seconds byoyomi. Pairings will be done according to the McMahon system. The venue will be "Wijkcentrum de Schalmij", Symfoniestraat 204 in Nijmegen. This tournament hall can easily be reached by busses #4 or #8 in the direction of "Neerbosch Oost" from the tunnel underneath the railway tracks near the Central Railway Station of Nijmegen. Exit at the last stop which is in the Symfoniestraat. If you come by car, you can use the route planner at www.anwb.nl (Select , ).
